The Texas Rangers  have taken game 1 against the Blue Jays 5-3.

Robinson Chirinos  hit a 2 run home-run, Rougned Odor added a solo homer to really top of the Rangers win over the Blue Jays.

The Rangers will be without their third baseman Adrian Beltre who is ruled out with a back strain. Blue Jays hoping for third baseman Josh Donaldson to return after head injury in yesterday’s game.

Jose Bautista hit his first postseason home run, adding to what he has contributed to the Blue Jays.

David Price , Blue Jays starting pitcher was handed his 6th consecutive Game 1 postseason loss.

Yvonne Gallardo, starting pitcher for the Rangers had a 3.60 ERA in the game.

Game 2 will feature Marcus Stroman against  Cole Hamels; starts at 12:30pm ET tomorrow.

Can the Blue Jays  recover? Can the Rangers continue their success?
