The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a contract buyout with Greg Monroe, league sources tell ESPN.

It was expected from the start that Monroe likely wouldn’t have a long Suns tenure after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks in early December. Assuming he clears waivers, Monroe should have a litany of teams to choose from as his next destination.
Monroe is a 6’11” big man who is very efficient around the basket and is also a solid rebounder. For those reasons, he would be a welcomed addition to a number of teams. Here are just a few teams, currently in playoff contention, that may be a potential fit:
