In only 29 minutes and 16 seconds, CJ McCollum scored a career-high 50 points in a 124-108 win over the Chicago Bulls.

It all started in the first quarter, when McCollum scored a Portland Trail Blazers franchise record 28 points.

McCollum finished the first quarter 11-14 from the field, 2-2 from the free throw line, and 4-5 from three point land. It was a masterful first quarter, as he alone outscored the Bulls by nine points in the quarter.

He scored four points in the second quarter to finish with 32 at the half. The third quarter was more of the same, as McCollum continued to dominate the Bulls defense to the tune of 18 more points.

With no need to play in the fourth quarter, McCollum became just the second player in NBA history to score at least 50 points in less than 30 minutes.

McCollum finished the game 18-25 from the field, 8-8 from the free throw line, and 6-9 from the three-point line. He also added 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and one steal, as well.
