DeAndre Jordan led the Los Angeles Clippers as they beat the Denver Nuggets 103-96 in their first preseason game. Jordan was the highlight of the game in lob city as he scored 12 points and three dunks in the first half. He ended the game with 15 points and 12 rebounds. But, Jordan definitely had help from other star players like Josh Smith and Chris Paul. New Clipper Josh Smith had 13 points and 8 rebounds while Chris Paul had 12 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds.


The Nuggets definitely put up a fight. Joffrey Lauvergne was the leader in scoring of the Nuggets as he had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Will Barton led in rebounds for the game with 11 rebounds added with 12 points. Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay finished with 14 points. It was also the debut of for Nugget’s coach Michael Malone. However, this was not enough to triumph over the Clippers. The Clippers will face the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night, and the Nuggets will face the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
