After Kristaps Porzingis missed the exit meeting at the end of the season, team president Phil Jackson disliked the questionable decision and wants to trade Porzingis. He stressed how nobody had done that to him in 30 years.

Kristaps Porzingis frustration grew throughout the season and possibly wouldn’t mind being traded elsewhere. The New York Knicks forward is reportedly near being traded on draft night.

Supposedly, the forward’s brother told Tim Montemayor of 1580 The Fanatic that this deal is likely to be done on NBA draft night.

Later on throughout this early day, Montemayor said this deal will be done if the Suns can offer Eric Bledsoe, fourth pick, and Marquese Chriss for Kristaps Porzingis.

On Wednesday, Phil Jackson said the Knicks are “listening” to offers for Porzingis and expressed disappointment in KP for missing his exit meeting.

It has been known for a few days that team president Phil Jackson said the Knicks are willing to trade Porzingis for the right amount of return.

No one from the organization’s front office or coach Jeff Hornacek have been in touch with Porzingis since he missed the exit meeting, per sources.
