(US Weekly)

Where is Carmelo Anthony going? That has been one of the biggest topics in the NBA since January. His wife spilled some tea of his future destination.

According to Lala Anthony, she wants Melo to play for the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors or Cleveland Cavaliers. All four teams have the ability to trade for Melo and give the Knicks something acceptable back in return.

The most realistic is the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs need Melo to better compete with the Warriors. This doesn’t necessarily give them the edge, but definitely helps the cause.

In order for that to happen, Carmelo Anthony would have to waive his no trade clause. Due to the fact that there’s no president, no buyout can be accepted at this time.

In the mean time, LALA keep us guessing with this bold statement on Hot.97 radio show.

Lala clearly stated on the radio show that Melo needs to be close to his son Kiyan especially if he wants his relationship to last longer than his with Lala *ouch*.

Melo time in New York is up and everybody knows why. No need to break down all the drama that happened this last season. From Phil Jackson chaos, Melo having his own fans booing him, it’s time for a change of scenery for Melo. Why not chase a ring?

At 33-years-old, Melo is has to be ring chasing late in his career. This 15-year vet knows everything about the game of basketball. Melo have enough experience to quit basketball and become a head coach purely by his knowledge. There are two dents about Melo’s resume; not reaching the finals and obviously, never winning the NBA finals.

Melo is a future hall of famer and we all know Melo doesn’t want to retire without a ring. Being boys with LeBron, why the hell not?

Carmelo is one of the best shooters our game has seen. One of the best shot creators in the history of basketball. Melo never had a season where he didn’t score 20 plus points per game, his stats speak for himself. A lot of people still question his game because he doesn’t pass the ball, but honestly… who would he have passed to?

If Lala is right with these destinations, nobody would be mad or bash Melo for going to a team to chase a ring. Great players like Charles Barkley possibly regret all the time that he didn’t get a chance to hold the Bill O’Brien trophy in his arms. Even if it meant leaving the team you definitely know you’ll never win on.

Stay tuned for updates!
