The Cleveland Cavaliers can make up for their recent Finals loss by making this report come to life.
The Indiana Pacers are discussing with several teams about Paul George. One team, in particular, is the Cleveland Cavaliers according to Adrian Wajonaroswki of Yahoo Sports.
In the past 24 hours, Pritchard has become more aggressive in pursuing trades for George, league sources told The Vertical. Pritchard has yet to show an inclination to engage the Lakers, but has discussed deals with several teams – including Cleveland – in which the expectation of teams would be that George is a “one-year rental.”
George haven’t openly express his feelings about the Cavaliers like he did about the Los Angeles Lakers. However, if George wants to win, Cleveland is the place to be.
Earlier in the year, George told ESPN Radio that he wants to win.
In February, Per Indy Star:
“As I told Larry, I always want to play on a winning team,” George said on the program. “I always want to be part of a team that has a chance to win it (all). That’s important. Say what you want; I want to compete for something. It’s frustrating just playing the game for stats or for numbers or to showcase yourself. Man, I want a chance to play for a chance to win a championship.
According to Sam Amico, this trade is in the early stages of talking.

This trade will be highly impossible to complete without Cavaliers F Kevin Love, unless the Pacers want to make LeBron’s route to the Finals even easier than it has been.
George will be a rental for the Cavaliers if both sides agree on a trade. It can be inferred that George will like and want to sign with Cleveland after his probable first NBA finals appearance.
The Pacers are smart. They don’t want PG13 to walk for free in the summer of 2018. Receiving anything for George will be a green check in the front office resume. However, getting a second-tier or proven NBA players with draft picks is the ideal suit for Indiana.
