The Los Angeles Clippers aren’t going to pursue JJ Redick, but who is considering this sharpshooter?
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, JJ Redick will not return back to the Los Angeles Clippers. It’s going to take some time getting used to saying Woj from ESPN…
Redick is set to meet with the Philadelphia 76ers. According to Wojnarowski, they will offer Redick 1-year around 20 million a year. Redick may be convinced to trust the process and head to Philly. Nobody would deny that a sharpshooter like Redick would change the dynamic of a young team.
Another team that is set to reportedly sign Reddick is the Brooklyn Nets, who can roughly sign him for two years. He explained “the jump” that Brooklyn would use Reddick off the bench, which I don’t believe Redick is interested in.
Whoever signs Reddick would have an instant upgrade at their three point shooting and a player who can create his own shot and keep his ground on defense.
Reddick averaged 15 points on 42.9 percent shooting at the three point line.
Lastly, Wojnarowski said that Head coach Tom Thibodeau of the Minessota Timberwolves could offer Reddick around $30 million dollars.
