The Pacers want ends on Paul George before his departure after next season; Can they find the perfect match?

According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the Indiana Pacers intend to move fast on any deal for Paul George.

Earlier today, George reportedly told the Pacers front office that he intend to leave and plans on signing with the Los Angeles Lakers after his contract expires.

The Pacers front office knows that George is a top player in this league, so trading PG13 can solidify a great return in the potential deal.

Teams that are actually competing next year and can really use Paul George:

Even though these four teams are in need of George, they don’t have the assets to satisfy Indiana except for one team. There were reports saying that the Pacers want two first round draft picks and a starter according to David Aldridge of TNT.

The only team to seemingly have that criteria is the Boston Celtics.

However, Boston is in rebuild mode and knowing that George wants to sign with the Lakers in 2018, trading away PG13 isn’t easy as you think.

The only team who’s ready to make that deal is the Cleveland Cavaliers because James only has one year left on his contract and George is the only piece that can help them defeat the Warriors. Cleveland knows their championship window is closing, one year of George will make Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin smile.

The reason why George might not go to Cleveland is because they don’t have a lot of “good” draft picks in the near future.

One source texted me this, “This is just the beginning. Had an NBA agent tell me today, stuff is about to be going crazy starting next week.”

Be ready people…

Paul George to the Cavaliers trade talks are real.

The Pacers want to move on from George by Thursday, according to Sam Amico of AmicoHoops.
