The Jazz need a pass-first point guard and the perfect match is on their radar.
The Utah Jazz reportedly are not pursuing 31-year-old George Hill, who performed well in his one year with the Jazz. Hill averaged 16.9 points, on 47.7 percent shooting, and 4.2 assists.
The low assist total is exactly why the Jazz are looking for another guard to control their offense.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Jazz want to trade for the Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio.
Follow-up to yesterday's Ricky Rubio story: League sources say Utah is among the teams to express trade interest in the veteran point guard.

Rubio thrived in the second half of the season. He improved his shooting percentage and is flourishing his game by continuing to make the others shine.
Rubio averaged 9.1 assists and ONLY 2 turnovers. If you are in need of a pass first point guard, Rubio is the perfect candidate on the market.
Rubio and the young star Rudy Gobert will definitely maximize their potential on the court together. What to watch? Pick N rolls and highlight plays from this potential duo. In addition, Rubio is a great defensive point guard that can compliment Gobert’s outstanding defensive play. Rubio in Utah makes too much sense.
