A matchup of experience versus new-comer, the North Carolina Tarheels looked like the more composed team at the start of their Final Four matchup against the Oregon Ducks. Turnovers were the story early for the Ducks, as North Carolina forced 12 turnovers and 13 points off those turnovers.
UNC forward Kennedy Meeks went off in Glendale as well, posting a career-high 25 points, going 11-13 from the field and grabbing 14 rebounds. Justin Jackson also put up big numbers in the Carolina victory, scoring 22 points as well.
