(3) Oregon is going to the Final Four for the first time since 1939, after defeating (1) Kansas, 74-60, in the Elite Eight. Both teams reached the Round of 8 last season, but were unable to take the next step, with losses to Oklahoma and Villanova, respectively.

Tyler Dorsey scored 20+ points for the seventh consecutive game, but Jordan Bell was the difference. He scored 11, while grabbing 13 rebounds, and blocking 8 shots. Unbelievable night for the big man. Bell was a major impact in the middle of the defense and bothered Kansas’ offense all night.

Pac-12 Player of the Year Dillon Brooks played well, scoring 17, and was one of four Ducks players to score in double-digits. Frank Mason III, who could be the Wooden Award Winner, put in 21 points and 4 assists, but it wasn’t enough to vault the Jayhawks to their first Final Four since 2012.

Oregon will face (1) North Carolina or (2) Kentucky in the Final Four next weekend. It has been an outstanding season for the Ducks, who are 33-5 on the season, and are playing their best basketball of the year.
