For the first time since 1999, the Buffalo Bills are headed to the playoffs, not only because of their 22-16 week 17 win over the Miami Dolphins, but also in thanks to Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Entering week 17, the Bills needed a win and a Baltimore Ravens loss to make the postseason. The Bengals delivered just that. With :51 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Bengals faced a 4th and 12 situation. Dalton dropped back to pass and delivered a dime to Tyler Boyd, and the rest is history.

Bills fans are known for their tailgate antics of jumping through flaming tables, and dousing a grown man with ketchup and mustard. But now they are being recognized for donating to Dalton’s charity, Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation. According to the Buffalo News, as of 5 pm Wednesday, more than 11,000 donors have contributed $255,792.
The Bills will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at Everbank Field, with kickoff slated for 1 pm. Unfortunately they may be playing without superstar running back LeSean McCoy. McCoy suffered an ankle sprain early in the second half and had to be carted off the field. He didn’t practice today, Wednesday, and is considered a game time decision by head coach Sean McDermott.
The city of Buffalo is buzzing, and the “Bills Mafia” couldn’t be more ready to finally have their Buffalo Bills back in the playoff contention. We’re ready!
