After retiring from the NFL for one year, Marshawn Lynch says that he is ready to come back, and play for the city he grew up in, Oakland.

During Lynch’s visit to the Raiders, he told them that he is ready to forget retirement and play, per Ian Rapoport.

Although the Seahawks gave Oakland permission to meet with Lynch, Lynch remains on the Seahawks’ reserve/retired list, which means that the Raiders can’t sign him.

The only way for Lynch to play for the Raiders this year, is if the Seahawks release him, or if the Raiders and Seahawks work out some deal. This is probably what will happen, knowing that the Seahawks gave Oakland permission to talk to Lynch.

Lynch will turn 31 on April 22. Will he still have some gas left in his tank? Will he still be able to go into Beast-Mode? We’ll find out soon.
