Back with my Week Three Fantasy Rankings!

These rankings are based on PPR scoring, so if you are not in a PPR league, than you should make your own adjustments to my rankings.

As always, before I would like to offer you three value plays in DFS!

  1. Jordan Reed: TE Washington Redskins ($3,800)

The tight end position is an absolute crab shoot when talking about fantasy football, but Jordan Reed has scored the sixth most fantasy points at his position this season. In each of his first two games, Reed has caught at least six passes and has at least 60 receiving yards.

The Giants have given up the third most fantasy points to opposing teams’ tight ends this season. Reed has been Kirk Cousins favorite target in the red zone. I like his chances to score a touchdown in this one. Reed is a cheap option with high upside.

  1. Larry Fitzgerald: WR Arizona Cardinals ($5,800)

Through two games this season, Fitzgerald already has more receiving yards, touchdowns, and receptions than he did through six games last season. He has received the most targets out of any Cardinals’ wide receiver thus far. He’s coming on of his best fantasy games of his career (40.2 points). With a favorable matchup against the 49ers (they’ve given up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing teams’ wide receivers), I expect Fitzgerald to have another big game, and with a price tag of $5,800, he is a no-brainer must play in DFS.

  1. Julian Edelman: WR New England Patriots ($7,000)

$7,000 is a hefty price for a receiver who relies heavily on receptions, but I believe Edelman has the potential to be the number one fantasy receiver this week. He’s scored the third most fantasy points among all receivers thus far.

I love his matchup this week against the Jaguars, who have allowed given up the most fantasy points to opposing teams’ wide receivers over the last two seasons.
