These rankings are based on PPR scoring, so if you are not in a PPR league, than you should make your own adjustments to my rankings.

As always, before I would like to offer you three value plays and three players to avoid in DFS!

Three Value Plays

  1. Leonard Hankerson: Atlanta Falcons ($4,000) (VS WAS)

Hankerson has clearly asserted himself as the number two wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons and this week the Falcons are going up against an abysmal Redskins’ secondary. Over the last two weeks, the Redskins have allowed big yardage to opposing teams’ number two receivers. Two weeks ago, Ruben Randle had his best game of the season, scoring 27.6 fantasy points. Last week the Eagles’ number two receiver, Nelson Agholor had his best game of the season, scoring 8.4 fantasy points, much higher than his usual numbers. The bottom line is this; Hankerson is dirt cheap, is averaging 14 fantasy points per game, and has an extremely favorable matchup. He is a must play this week.

  1. Justin Forsett: Baltimore Ravens ($5,800) (VS CLE)

The Browns are allowing the 5th most fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs this season. Forsett is coming off of his best game of the season, scoring 18 fantasy points last week verse the Steelers. At $5,800, Forsett is a tremendous value play. There are 11 running backs with a larger price tag than Forsett. Going up against the Browns, I expect to see the Forsett we saw last week, as opposed to the one we saw the first three weeks.

  1. Owen Daniels: Denver Broncos ($2,700) (@ OAK)

I said it last week, I’ll say it again this week, whichever team Oakland is playing, give me their tight end everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. I’ll put it in simple terms: THE RAIDERS CANNOT STOP TIGHT ENDS. THEY ARE ALLOWING THE MOST FANTASY POINTS TO OPPOSING TEAMS TIGHT ENDS AND IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Three Players To Avoid

  1. Devonta Freeman: Atlanta Falcons ($6,300) (VS WAS)

Yes, Freeman is coming off two monster games, yes the Falcons are going up against a bad Redskins team, but believe it or not, the Redskins actually have been solid against the run. They have allowed the least amount of fantasy points to opposing teams’ running backs. I’m not saying Freeman is going to have a bad game, he may even reach the end zone, but if you’re going to spend $6,300 on a running back, there are much better options based solely on their matchups.

  1. Amari Cooper: Oakland Raiders ($6,600) (VS DEN)

Cooper has been an absolute stud in his first four games as a pro, but I am avoiding him at all costs this week in DFS. One, he is going up against the best defense in the NFL. Two, he will be covered by Aqib Talib, one of the best man-to-man corners in the NFL. And third, his price is much too high. For a price tag of $6,600 you are going to want to get much more return on your investment than you will likely get from Cooper this week.

  1. Antonio Brown: Pittsburgh Steelers ($8,700) (@ SD)

Brown is the best wide receiver in the NFL, but at $8,700 you’re going to want a much higher return on your investment than what Brown is going to give you this week. He’s going up against the Chargers, who have allowed the least amount of fantasy points on a per game basis to opposing teams’ wide receivers. Combine that with the fact that Michael Vick is his quarterback and you will surely see, that Brown is a player you should avoid this week.
