These rankings are based on PPR scoring, so if you are not in a PPR league, than you should make your own adjustments to my rankings.

As always, before I would like to offer you three value plays and three players to avoid in DFS.

Three Value Plays

  1. Todd Gurley: St. Louis Rams ($5,000) (VS CLE)

Gurley is an absolute must start this week. In his three games thus far, Gurley has looked like a cross between Adrian Peterson and 2009 Chris Johnson. He has speed, lateral quickness, and strength. Combine that with his low price tag and the fact that he is going up against the Browns, Gurley is an absolute must play in all daily games.

  1. Lamar Miller: Miami Dolphins ($4,600) (VS HOU)

After the first five weeks of being misused, new head coach Dan Campbell finally let Lamar Miller run free this past week. He ran for his first touchdown of the season, and topped 100 yards for the first time since week one. With a low price tag and a likely heavy workload; Miller is a great value play this week.

  1. Stefon Diggs: Minnesota Vikings ($4,200) (@ DET)

In two games played this season, Diggs has 13 catches for 216 yards. He has clearly established himself as the go to receiver for the Vikings. He seems to be the only receiver Bridgewater trusts. With a matchup against Detroit, I expect Diggs to continue to receive the majority of the targets. At $4,200 he is a tremendous value play.

Three Players to Avoid

  1. Antonio Brown: Pittsburgh Steelers ($7,900) (@ KC)

In the three games that Ben Roethlisberger has missed, Brown has failed to surpass 50 yards receiving in two of those three games. With Landry Jones at quarterback and a high price tag, I would avoid Antonio Brown in all forms of daily fantasy this week.

  1. Le’Veon Bell: Pittsburgh Steelers ($8,400) (@ KC)

I’m not saying Bell will have a bad game, but he is the most expensive running back on Draft Kings this week. The Chiefs do one thing well and that is stop the run. There are other players with a higher upside to play this week than Bell.

  1. Steve Smith SR: Baltimore Ravens ($6,200) (@ BAL)

The Ravens haven been abysmal this season, and I don’t see that changing this week. The one consistent skill player the Ravens have had all season is Steve Smith, but I see that coming to an end this week. They’re going up against a tremendous Cardinals’ defense on the road. The Cardinals secondary knows how to shut down an opposing team’s number one receiver. According to Football Outriders, the Cardinals rank sixth in terms of defensive efficiency. I’m avoiding Smith in all forms of daily fantasy this week.
