After the recent Barcelona star, Pedro Rodriguez, left the team, it seemed he was on his way to Machester United until a couple friends told him that it would be the wrong choice in his career.

Pedro had spoken to former teammates Cesc Fabregas and Victor Valdes, who told him that the best choice would be to move to Chelsea. Reports in England say that Valdes spoke to Pedro about how unhappy he is at the team being a bench warmer. They offered Valdes a spot on the youth team to get practive but he found that more offensive than helpful.

Screen Shot 2015-08-19 at 7.10.35 PMAfter Valdes talked down on his own club, and Cesc informing his team mate how good he is doing at Chelsea, it is now more likely that Pedro will be making a move to Chelsea. BBC Sport has let out information saying that Chelsea has offered $23 million for the former Barcelona winger.

In the last 326 games Pedro has played for Barcelona he has scored 99 goals and has just recently scored the final goal that won Barcelona the Super Cup. The question is will there be room for the winger at Chelsea? With class players like Oscar, Willian, and Hazard playing on the right and left midfield, how will manager Jose Mourinho make room for Pedro. There is also another small rumor that might become true in the near future that Machester City is also interested in Pedro.

With more positive news for Manchester United, they just won the first leg of the Champions League playoffs against Club Brugge. The club started with a 1-0 lead for Brugge after a Michael Carrick own goal, but during the remainder of the first half Memphis Depay scored two goals to re gain the lead.

Depay scored both goals and also assisted Marouane Fellaini with a stunning cross in the 94th minute. The recent transfer of Memphis Depay has made a great impact on the team.

The 21 year old played an incredible tournament during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. He was one of the most wanted prospects after the World Cup and Manchester United were willing to pay big bucks for a young winger, and their sacrifice might have actually paid off.
