On Monday morning, the remaining 16 teams in the UEFA Champions League found out their opponents for the next round of the tournament. The 16 qualifying teams were made up of eight group-winners and eight runner-up teams.

The location of the Round of 16 draw was in Nyon, Switzerland. The pairings of teams are stated as followed with the first team being the host for the first leg, and the second team being the host for the second leg. Whichever team has more total goals between the two legs will move on to the next round, with away goals playing a huge factor in the Round of 16.

February 24th & March 15th:

Dynamo Kiev (UKR) vs Manchester City (ENG)

Barcelona are the reigning champions of this tournament after a 3-1 victory over Juventus in Germany this past June. The final this season will take place in Milan, Italy at the historic San Siro stadium.

According to the International Business Times, Arsenal and Barcelona will face one another for the first time since the two met in the final of the tournament ten years ago.

It definitely will be interesting to see how things play out in the knockout round, but look for some surprises along the way. Teams such as Gent, Dynamo Kiev, and PSV will surely be underdogs in their matches against proven opponents.

Look out for some great talent and skill during the next round of the UEFA Champions League.
